Would you like to spend the day visiting a different urban destination? Get ready, let’s go! Boston presents us with a rich blend of incredible landmarks, architecture and historical sites. We will be traveling through time by visiting old and new places in this wonderful city that has so much to offer. Our main focus will be investigation and discovery, combining art exploration and hands-on activities.
Check out the sample itinerary: DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, New England Aquarium, Freedom Trail with a twist, Boston Commons, Hopkinton State Park, 3D movies, Omni theater and planetarium, South Boston Art Galleries, kayaking, boat trips and public beach areas, mini golf, conservation areas, zoos, farms and mazes.
Participants will use public transportation or school bus depending on number of participants. Teens will be supervised by an experienced New Art Center teacher and an additional adult. Our adult-to-student ratio will be 1:8. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring money to buy lunch or bring your own. Transportation and admission tickets are included. Meeting point is the New Art Center. *Itineraries subject to change.For students of all levels.
