Student and Faculty Exhibitions
The in-our-hands deadline for the Holzwasser Gallery application has been extended to Wednesday, May 1, 2013! If you are hand delivering, please deliver to the office before 5pm.
The New Art Center in Newton operates two galleries and several satellite galleries:
Main Gallery
Our Main Gallery offers a 2,000 square foot space (1,800 s.f. exhibition space and 200 s.f. of storage and work space) with soaring ceilings. Exhibitions are awarded through the Curatorial Opportunity Program. The Main Gallery also hosts Director's Choice exhibitions and fundraising exhibitions such as the Icons + Altars Benefit Exhibition.
Holzwasser Gallery
Holzwasser Gallery exhibitions are awarded in a juried process to faculty, staff and advanced students of the New Art Center.
Satellite Galleries
The New Art Center also displays work of faculty and students at the Brookline Bank branches in Newtonville and Newton Highlands and at Freedman HealthCare.
