How to schedule a school or community group visit
We welcome teachers, school groups and community groups to visit our exhibitions. We work closely with teachers and group leaders to design your visit to the New Art Center to best connect to your educational goals and interests.
The exhibits can be connected to many areas of study including Art, English, ESL, Poetry, Fiction & Autobiographical Writing, Social Studies, History, the Sciences, Current Events, more!
We welcome students of all ages K-12, college level students, senior groups and/or any other community group.

The New Art Center in Newton operates two galleries:
Main Gallery
Main Gallery exhibitions are awarded through the Curatorial
Opportunity Program based on the quality of work submitted
and the clarity, subtlety and power of the underlying concept
or theme. The Main Gallery also hosts an invitational fund
raising exhibit Icons + Altars, a Director's Choice and our
annual student show.
Holzwasser Gallery
Holzwasser Gallery exhibitions are awarded in a juried process
to faculty, staff and advanced students of the New Art Center.
