Director of Marketing and Communications

Position available for Director of Marketing and Communications for a non-profit art school and gallery. Seeking an organized self-starter excited to collaborate with a team of curatorial and education staff. Will be responsible for developing strategy and implementing all aspects of audience engagement through web, email, posters, flyers, social and print media. 

Must have 3-5 years' experience with full range of marketing tools.  Experience with fundraising and/or grant writing a very significant plus. Must have a car and be able to work some nights and weekends. Excellent written and graphic communication skills required. Familiarity with Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Constant Contact, FileMaker Pro, basic content management systems and Google Apps for Business required. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker willing to put in the effort to promote and market an organization with a unique mission and vision for connecting the local community with the wider art world. The position is full-time and eligible for benefits. NAC is an equal opportunity employer

The New Art Center offers a supportive culture that takes art and artists seriously. We serve over 2,500 students annually in hundreds of classes and workshops. Our faculty includes some of the region’s most esteemed art educators.
