All of our instructors are professional
artists who come to teaching through a discipline and who share their knowledge and
training because they love what they do. If you would like to teach at the New Art
Center, now is the time to propose your "dream course".
Proposals are accepted on an on-going basis and must be submitted at least three
months prior to the start of the semester (semesters start in January, April, July
and September). Teaching proposals may involve courses using several media, organized
around themes, working across arts, around social, cultural or historical concepts.
Our facilities include 2 ceramics studios, 2 visual arts studios, a dedicated children's
studio and two galleries.
Our programs are structured in four semesters:
Winter: January - March
Spring: April - June
Summer: July - August
Fall: September - December
Adult courses run in the mornings,
evenings and weekends, and childrens programs run in the afternoons and weekends.
